Music Together® registration/refund policies: Registration fees are non-refundable. There is a $10 non-refundable administration fee built in to all Music Together tuition, for both new and returning families. Pro-rated refund (minus new-family registration fee and administration fee) if withdrawal takes place BEFORE start of term. After start of term, prorated refunds will be granted only BEFORE your second class of term (classes pro-rate at $13.50). Take-home materials ($36) will be refunded only if returned unopened and undamaged. In extreme circumstances or emergency situations, a credit for up to 5 classes can be applied to a future Music Together term.
Private Lesson/Piano for Young Children registration policies: Full lesson fee refunds available only BEFORE start of term. $15 new-student registration fee is non-refundable. Prorated refunds are available up to 24 hours after your second private lesson. No refunds will be granted for withdrawals taking place more than 24 hours after second lesson of semester (in other words, please let us know right after your second lesson if you plan to withdraw). Failure to attend private lessons without proper withdrawal does not release a student from the responsibility to pay lesson fees. All lesson fees minus original deposit are due by first lesson. We do not offer payment plans, but we do accept credit card payments. For credit card payments beyond the first (per semester), there is a $5 processing fee. $50 deposit at time of registration will reserve a lesson time.
Absences/makeups: One excused absence per 16-week term will be made up at a time mutually convenient for teacher and student (usually at the end of semester). For an absence to be considered excused, student must call the CMCJP office (617.524.1784) no later than 3 hours prior to scheduled lesson time. All teacher absences will be made up, or a refund will be issued. Teachers will wait 10 minutes for a student who is late for a lesson. Students are asked to do the same for teacher.

There are no makeups for student absences. All teacher absences will be made up at the end of the term, or a refund will be issued.
Snow Cancellations: In the case of extreme weather conditions, please check in with CMCJP at either 617.524.1784, or on the website at jamaicaplainmusic.com where information will be posted regarding center closures.
We will make up one snow day per term.
