Our Saturday piano lessons, taught by teacher Jessica Modaff are geared toward children as young as 4 years. For lessons for children 4-6 years, we strongly encourage parental participation, both in the lessons and for at-home practice. In addition, we incorporate a group component into our Saturday lessons, since young children benefit greatly by learning in a group setting.
Children (and adults) of all ages may sign up for private lessons on Saturdays, and may opt out of the group component (Regular private lesson tuition rates apply).
Piano for young children at CMCJP: Our 16-week Saturday piano program consists of twelve 30-minute private lessons, and four 45-minute group lessons which replace private lesson every fourth week. Groups are scheduled for the same day as your private lesson, at times mutually convenient for students and teacher.
Fall '08 schedule: (16 weeks) Saturdays, 1-5pm starting Sept. 13 (no lessons 9/27, 11/29 or 12/27)
Fall Saturday piano tuition (with group component): $425 for new students (includes $15 registration fee), $410 for returning students. Tuition includes winter and spring recitals.
