This 8-week beginning keyboard class is attended along with parents/caregivers, and is taught on individual electric keyboards in groups of up to 6 students. Kids will learn the layout and range of the keyboard as well as correct hand position, and will learn rhythmic notation as well as melodic notation starting with note letter names. Class taught using the Faber method of beginning piano instruction. There will be the opportunity to continue class with a level II section in the spring.

Winter '12: Saturdays 4:30pm (45 minutes)
February 25 - April 21 (no class 4/14)

Tuition (includes take-home materials): $155 for Members; $165 for non-members -add $15 registration fee for families new to center (waived with Membership purchase).  Prorated late registration available through week 3.

Next steps: There will be the option to continue this class as a Level II in the spring.  We also offer: In-studio piano lessons (4+ for kids who show readiness); In-home lessons  (4+ for kids who show readiness); Musical Theatre (4-6 & 6-8 yrs).
